Our space is designed to accommodate events that require modesty and privacy, including the option to divide the halls with curtains/partitions as needed. We offer a sound system that can be used for speeches, lectures, and nasheeds, ensuring that all audio is appropriate for Islamic gatherings.
We maintain an environment ideal for community events, meals, lectures, workshops, and more.

Who can book the facility?
Our space is open to individuals, families, student groups, and organizations looking to host events that align with Islamic values. All events must maintain an Islamic environment in both conduct and purpose.
Are mixed-gender events allowed?
No. All events at Al-Ihsan must be fully segregated. Brothers and sisters must remain in separate areas throughout the event.
You have flexible options for segregation based on your event’s needs. You may choose:
- Brothers upstairs, sisters downstairs
- Sisters upstairs, brothers downstairs
- Both brothers and sisters upstairs and downstairs with clear physical partitions
Our team will help ensure the layout is appropriate and in line with Islamic guidelines.
Can both brothers and sisters participate in the same event?
Absolutely. Our audio and video system allows real-time streaming on both sides of the partitions as well as from the upstairs hall to the downstairs space, enabling shared participation while maintaining proper segregation.
What is the capacity of the venue?
The facility can accommodate up to 400 attendees, depending on your selected layout. Layout guides will be provided once your booking inquiry is received.
Are washrooms available on both floors?
No. Washrooms and water access are available only on the upstairs level. Please plan accordingly and notify guests in advance if the downstairs area is in use.
Is the building wheelchair accessible?
Our facility does not have an elevator. If accessibility is a concern, please contact us in advance to discuss possible accommodations.
Are there restrictions on music, food, or decor?
Yes. To preserve the sanctity of the space:
- No music or musical instruments are allowed
- No alcohol or intoxicants are permitted
- All attendees must dress modestly in accordance with Islamic teachings
Decor should also be respectful and suitable for an Islamic environment.
What other fees should I be aware of?
- A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your date
- A $400 damage deposit is also required, which will be refunded after the event, once the facility has been inspected and confirmed to be in the same clean and usable condition
- Additional costs may apply based on any add-on services selected, such as childcare, catering, or equipment rentals
What add-ons do you offer with facility bookings?
We offer the following add-on services:
- Event set-up and take-down
- Decor
- Post-event cleaning
- Childcare support
- Halal catering (diverse menu options)
- Audio/visual equipment (projector, screen, microphones)
- Gender segregation setup (curtains, partitions, floor planning)
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Your 20% deposit is fully refundable if you cancel at least 7 days before your event. For cancellations due to unavoidable or emergency circumstances, we may offer partial or full refunds depending on the situation.
