Camp

A six-week program consisting of teaching, learning, sports, and activities created specially to help our youngsters and children make better use of their time off from school

Learn

This year’s Summer Youth Program focuses on Aqīdah for Children—equipping them with the foundational knowledge and tools they need to grow up with strong Islamic beliefs while living in the West. Through fun, interactive activities, projects, and group work, children will explore essential aspects of our creed in a way that builds understanding, confidence, and lasting faith.

Practice

Along with learning, children will be given exercises and activities to complete both alone and in groups. This will help create an interactive environment where students can actively demonstrate what they are learning

Play

Every class day, a portions of the time will be spent in sports and activities. These will take place either on-site in Al-Ihsan's recreational facility or at the Newton Elementary Park across the street from Al-Ihsan.

Outings

There will be bi-weekly trips planned throughout the program. Al-Ihsan will cover most costs related to these trips, while parents may be required to pay as well.

Who is this program for?

This year’s program is being made available to young boys and girls between the ages of 5 and 12.

Spaces are limited.

SCHEDULE

The program will run for 6 weeks from July 7 – August 14, 2025

Monday to Thursday

11:00 am – 2:00 pm

All classes will be held in-person at the Al-Ihsan Centre: 11-8285 132 St, Surrey, BC V3W 4N6

FIELD TRIP

On the last day of the program, we will take the children on a special field trip! Field trips in past programs have been to skating arenas, bowling trips, laser tag, PNE Playland, Tubing and Skiing, and others. Field trip costs are not included in the program fees. More details on this years field trip coming soon.

FEES

One child: $150

Two children: $250

Three children: $300

Each additional child: $100 each

Discounts only apply for children from the same family living at the same address

Tuition does not include field trip expenses.

Spring program 2022

The Al-Ihsan Summer Youth Program was super fun. My children learned a lot while having a great time in an Islamic environment. I would like to thank the Al-Ihsan Team for organizing this successful program. The teachers are friendly, caring and interactive with children. My sons absolutely loved the camp. They enjoyed the activities, made new friends and were everyday so excited to go to the camp.

Summer Program 2021

May Allah reward you for offering this program! It was a perfect mix of activities, fun, and learning. My children absolutely loved it! They learnt so much, enjoyed the activities, and were actually looking forward to going back every day. The teachers and supervisors were all very friendly and caring as well! The kids are already excited to come back for the Winter progeam!
